Mountain Biking

A challenging and pleasant pictureque ride in mountainous terrain, mid-hills, green valleys and tropical plains of terai is a wonderful offer to mountain bikers from Nepal. Mountain biking is a great fun and perfect way to discover Nepal's great diverse landscape, of tremendous terrain, tracks and trails. This is the only way to discover these hidden treasures and its warm ever-smiling people, and it is on mountain bikes, only mountain bikes. Mountain bike takes you away from the hustle bustle of the city-town life in to serene country life, on a hidden trail rately visited area of local villages, its traditional rural life style that has preserved for centuries.Around the Kathmandu valley the options for mountain biking are endless. You can challenge yourself on long, hilly rides out on the valley rim or just explore the many temples and Newari villages in the lower valley. Or for the less energetic you can have a strictly down hill tour.

Day Trip : Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Sakhu / Bhaktapur - Kathmandu.

  Kathmandu Valley 5 days Package Program :
Day 1 : Kathmandu - Mulkharkha (1600m, 22kms). Overnight stay in Guest House in AP plan.
Day 2 : Mulkharkha - Chisapani (2105m, 21kms). Overnight stay in Teahouse in AP plan.
Day 3 : Chisapani - Nagarkot (2000m, 25kms). Overnight stay in Hotel in AP plan
Day 4 :  Nagarkot - Dhulikhel (1600m, 32 kms). Overnight stay in Hotel in AP plan.
Day 5 :  Dhulikhel - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu (32 kms). End of Program.

  

 

 

Price for the Trip :

The cost for the trek or tour will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you choose in Kathmandu and/or another destination will make a difference to the overall costing (budget to 5 star accommodation). The mode of transportation you prefer is the another factor which affects the cost of your package, for example prices change significantly between flight versus private car/van, tourist/local bus. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. From above reason the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.

  • Bike with Helmet (in both packages).
  • Biking Guide (in both packages).
  • Packed Lunch in Day Trip Package.
  • Three (3) meals in a day and Teahouse accommodation in Twin-sharing basis (in more than 1 day trip except in Kathmandu).
  • National park / Reserve Area Entrance fees & all necessary permits.
  • Luggage drop only in two places (Nagarkot and Dhulikhel).
  • Any International and Domestic Airfare and taxes and Nepal visa.
  • Tour Guide of any language (can arrange if demanded).
  • Any Entrance fees in Heritage sites, Museum and Parks in Kathmandu and other cities.
  • Any kind of hard or soft drinks or mineral water during whole trip.
  • Any Hot water or Hot shower during the trip.
  • Any meals except Packed-Lunch in Day Trip.
  • Any meals except mentioned in "Service Includes".
  • Emergency Transportation / Evacuation.
  • Extra cost for unseen & unstoppable circumstances (natural disaster, flight cancel, strike etc).
  • Cost of extra day(s) stay for hiring extra porters and vehicles in any cause.
  • Personal insurance and expenses (like laundry, phone call, internet, taxi fare during personal use etc).
  • Tips and all the other expenses not mentioned above & of personal nature.
  • Sleeping Bag(s) (NPR 50.00 per bag per night).
